The knowledge of the Gavioli Family in joinery and blacksmithing coming from several generations, allied with the experience in family farming and livestock and added to the entrepreneurial spirit and the handcrafted gifts, were the driving lever of what is now the Company Gavioli Equipment. Motivated by the search for better opportunities, the pioneer Noemio Gavioli transferred with his family to the headquarters of the municipality of Santiago, in the sixties, where he began the production of wooden frames, carts, carts, chari, doorms and repairs of truck bodies. It was proved to be so important as to give the potential and the differential of support of this way to the producers of metal and the production of wood in this way.

Being the strategic food production in any country and establishing itself in a region that has primary production as the main economic activity, the Company was inserted in this context. Initially the focus was the livestock sector, with a gradual growth in agriculture. Over the years the agricultural sector was driven by exports and also the consequent process of mechanization of crops that remains very strong, which puts to the present day, the industrial segment in the state of prominence in the country.

Gavioli Equipamentos followed the cycle of extensive livestock and subsistence farming in the transformation of a professional grain production, participated taking advantage of opportunities and producing bodies. In the eighties, there was a fall in international commodity prices and consequent appreciation of livestock. At the same time reduced the segment of grain transportation by rail and the need for bodies for transport with trucks direct from the crop to the terminals of the port of Rio Grande, which began to intensify.

Also in this period, with the changes in livestock, there was a great development in genetics and need for better treatments.In the nineties, with the new managements, demanded to improve the containment equipment with construction of new hoses within the vision of animal welfare, as well as new equipment in the matter of nutrition. Since for a greater precocity one of the main requirements is food, then arise phenys and various models of covered salt shakers.

Currently, Gavioli produces in addition to the various equipment for the management and treatment of livestock, bodies and equipment for leisure and recreation, executing customized projects. For more than 50 years in the market, Gavioli has gained credibility and trust among suppliers, employees and customers and aims to offer improvements to the quality of life with its products, always employing technological innovations to satisfy consumers.
