On Monday (06/02), the Technical Committee of Livestock of the Faemg Senar System was gathered to celebrate the great prospects for Brazilian cattle ranchers. The meeting was held in partnership with the Mining Institute of Agriculture (IMA) and had very positive results, presented from the headquarters of the system, located in Belo Horizonte.

The report points out that Brazil is the country with the greatest growth potential in beef production and export, without shortening its own needs. The chairman of the commission, Nabih Amin El Aouar, said that these data are extremely important.

“It is necessary to have productivity, quality, sustainability and do our homework well, because the opportunities are there. We can produce better quality meat in greater quantity, and increase the number of countries that buy our meat without missing the internal market”, he explained.

El Aouar also highlighted the responsibility of ranchers with Brazil. According to him, they are committed to providing food to the Brazilian population. He added that competently there will be surpluses for exports, which will boost not only the internal economy, but also give income, work and dignity to those who practice this profession.

The Superintendent of Institutional Relations of the Faemg Senar System, Altino Rodrigues, highlighted the importance of Fundesa-MG to ensure protection to producers in challenging times and also addressed the updates made to improve protein production with quality and sustainability.

According to Nabih Amin El Aouar, ranchers need to adopt preventive measures. Even with a reliable epidemiological surveillance system, it is necessary for everyone to strive to contribute. “O Fundesa is the salvation of the rural producer. It is like a health plan 'you can spend a whole year without using, but if you need it, it has to be available. Tomorrow, your life may depend on it”, he compared.

Concern for safety and sustainability in the field are essential for the success of any venture.

The Technical Committee of Livestock Court has worked with constant exchange of ideas between members who bring diverse experiences of the production chain. The group highlights the concern that information reach rural producers so that they can have access to more productivity and profitability within the best practices required by buyers.

“Today, those who do not adhere to environmental sustainability practices, leave the market. We have to do this reach those who have less access so that they can use and motivate themselves to produce more and better and, especially, correctly. The role of this commission is to bring producers cutting conditions so that they can equalize in development and technology to other” chains, Nabih said.

Francisco Simoes, legal advisor to the Faemg Senar System, highlighted ways for farmers to stay safe and protect their properties and families. Exchange information among them, maintain good relations with the Rural Union and rural patrols are some recommendations given amid the transition of government.
